EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue and former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman are among nine people chosen to serve on the board of trustees for the 2014 New York/New Jersey Super Bowl Host Committee.
The group was announced on Wednesday and also includes former Jets star running back Curtis Martin and former Giants center Bart Oates.
The other five members are Ira Akselrad, the president of The Johnson Company Inc.; Laura Forese, Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operating Officer of New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center; Al Kelly, president and chief executive officer of the 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Company Inc.; Jeffrey Stewart, co-founder and managing director of Walnut Hill Media
LLC and Kevin Warsh, distinguished visiting fellow at the Hoover Institute and lecturer at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
The Host Committee is chaired by Woody Johnson, chairman and CEO of the Jets, and Jonathan Tisch, co-chairman of the board, Loews Corporation and co-owner of the Giants.
